Awards from the biggest attractions - a week in Santorini award ... and our boys (and girls) were not long in prayer! Participation (even excluding the foreign presence), and 'was more' high that the National Championships, being completely open to the formula: the sixth kyu to sample d'Europa, tutti insieme appassionatamente!
Il kendo greco si sta sviluppando, non e' facile fare grandi numeri con 8 dojo sull'intero territorio ellenico, ma questo torneo ha dimostrato che in Europa la voglia di kendo e' tanta e che, se le cose si sanno organizzare, la risposta non manca! L'Athens Club ha corso il rischio di organizzare un evento nuovo come il Taikai, ma ha invitato 8 arbitri internazionali, si e' assicurato una palestra splendida (ottimo parquet e ottima climatizzazione!) e ha completato il quadro con tanta ospitalita' greca: non potevano fallire. Il Sayonara Party e' stato memorabile, sia per le performance danzerecce, sia per la frantumazione di piatti e bicchieri in perfetta vena tradizionale ellenica. OPA!
